Decorative polychrome ceramic wall plate by Boch Belgium, produced for Royal Sphinx Holland. The plate is richly decorated with a colorful depiction of a bird of paradise among flowers and branches, executed in vibrant shades of yellow, red, green, and blue.
The wide rim is decorated with an elegant ornamental pattern in black, green, and red, interspersed with small floral motifs. This combination of floral decoration and exotic bird illustration gives the plate a distinctly decorative appeal that fits well in both classic and eclectic interiors.
The back bears the mark “Boch Belgium – Made for Royal Sphinx Holland”, which refers to the historical collaboration between the Belgian ceramic factory Boch and the Dutch earthenware manufacturer Royal Sphinx.
The plate is equipped with a hanging mechanism and can be used directly as wall decoration, but also looks beautiful on a stand in a cabinet or on a dresser.
