Tins
Advertising tins, biscuit tins, and storage canisters represent one of the richest areas of applied lithography from the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. Dutch brands such as Droste, Verkade, Jamin, and Van Nelle produced tins whose graphic design was as considered as any other printed matter of the period. Alongside these well-known names, the collection includes lesser-documented editions, regional or short-lived, whose rarity is a direct consequence of their historical obscurity.
