Teapots

The teapot is one of the most discussed forms in European ceramic history — an object in which function and design are rarely separable. The collection includes porcelain, earthenware, and metal teapots from the nineteenth and twentieth centuries, originating from England, France, Germany, and the Netherlands. Some are plain and domestic; others decorated with the precision of a porcelain painter.
