The tin features a dark silver-plated relief design with rich baroque ornaments, cherubs, and cartouches surrounding the oval-shaped brand label “A. Driessen – Rotterdam.”

A. Driessen was a prominent Dutch chocolatier of the late 19th century, producing luxury chocolates and bonbons for the upper middle class. The elegant print and heavy design make this a beautiful example of early Dutch advertising packaging .
