Shipping policy

At The Collectionist, we handle every order with care. Many objects are unique, antique or fragile, and are professionally packaged for safe shipment.


Processing time

Orders are generally dispatched within 1–3 working days of receipt of payment, unless otherwise stated on the product page.

For exceptional objects or custom packaging, the processing time may differ. If so, you will be informed.


Delivery

Delivery takes place within the legally established maximum period of 30 days, unless expressly agreed otherwise.


Shipping methods

We work with carefully selected carriers. The available shipping options are displayed at checkout and depend on the country of delivery, the size and the weight of the package.

Where appropriate, shipments are sent insured.


Shipping costs

Shipping costs are clearly displayed before the order is finalised.

For shipments outside the European Union, import duties, customs charges or local taxes may apply. These costs are borne by the recipient.


Track & Trace

After dispatch, you will receive, where applicable, a Track & Trace code by email. Tracking information becomes active once the carrier has processed the shipment.


Delivery and risk

Delivery takes place at the address you have provided.

The risk of loss or damage passes at the moment the product is effectively in your possession or in the possession of a third party designated by you.


Damage or loss

We recommend that you inspect the order immediately upon receipt.

In the event of damage or loss, please report this as soon as possible — preferably within 48 hours — by email, with clear photos of the product, the packaging and the shipping label.


Uncollected shipments

If a shipment is returned due to an incorrect address or because the package was not collected, additional shipping costs may be charged for a new dispatch.
