This story takes place in South America. Carlos, a thirteen-year-old boy, has been living with his aunt in the capital since the murder of his parents. When he visits his native village, the journey is not without problems. Finally arriving at the village, it seems deserted. There is only a man with a gun standing in the middle of the square.
