This elegant vintage cigarette dispenser is a unique tableware piece that combines Japanese aesthetics with ingenious design. The cylindrical body is crafted from black lacquer, richly decorated with delicately painted cranes, floral motifs, and gold accents, a traditional symbol of good fortune, nobility, and longevity.
When you lift the red, pagoda-shaped cap, a gold mechanism inside fans out, elegantly presenting the cigarettes. It's reminiscent of an unfolding flower; a striking and luxurious detail that makes this object a true conversation piece.
The solid brass base provides stability and quality. On the bottom is an authentic sticker from Mathot Vanhoffelen, Jezusstraat 15, Antwerp, a well-known quality shop from the 20th century.
A special piece for collectors of smoking accessories, Japanese design or mid-century tableware.
