Returns Policy – ​​The Collectionist

At The Collectionist , we sell unique, often vintage, and antique items. However, the same legal rights apply to online purchases as to other online stores. Below, we clearly explain how returns work.

Right of withdrawal

You have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receipt without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period will expire after 14 days from the day on which you, or a third party designated by you (other than the carrier), has acquired physical possession of the product.

How to use the right of withdrawal

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must notify us within 14 days of receipt via:

You can send a clear statement to this effect (for example, by email). Using a standard withdrawal form is not mandatory, but is permitted.

Returning the product

After cancellation, you have another 14 days to actually return the product to us.

The product must:
– to be carefully packaged
– to be in the same condition as you received it
– including any associated parts or documentation

You may inspect and evaluate the product as you would in a physical store. We may charge for any diminished value resulting from further use.

Return costs

The costs for returning the product are at your own expense, unless otherwise agreed.

Refund

After correct cancellation, you will receive the full purchase price back, including the original shipping costs .

We will refund this amount no later than 14 days after receipt of the returned shipment or after you have demonstrated that you have returned the product, whichever is earlier.

The refund will be made using the same payment method used for the original transaction, unless otherwise agreed.

Exceptions to the right of withdrawal

The right of withdrawal does not apply to:

– products manufactured according to customer specifications
– clearly personalized products
– products that cannot be returned for hygiene or health reasons and whose seal has been broken

If a product is not returnable, this will be clearly stated on the product itself.

Damage during transport

Please check your order immediately upon receipt. Any transport damage or inaccuracies must be reported by email within 48 hours of receipt, preferably with photos.
