Shipping & Track & Trace – The Collectionist

At The Collectionist , we handle every order with care. Because many of our items are unique, fragile, or antique, we pay extra attention to packaging and shipping.

Processing time

Orders are usually shipped within 1–3 business days of receipt of payment, unless otherwise stated on the product.

During peak periods or for exceptional items, processing times may vary. In that case, you will be notified.

Shipping Methods

We ship our orders through trusted shipping partners. Available shipping options are displayed during checkout and depend on:

– the delivery country
– the size and weight of the object
– the chosen shipping method

Postage costs

Shipping costs are clearly displayed in advance during checkout, before you finally place your order.

Any import duties, customs fees or local taxes when shipping outside the EU will be charged to the recipient.

Track & Trace

Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a Track & Trace code by email (if applicable).

You can use this code to track your shipment via the carrier's website. Tracking information may only become visible after the carrier has processed the package.

Delivery

Delivery will take place at the delivery address you specified.

We are not liable for delays caused by:
– incorrect or incomplete address information
– absence of the recipient
– customs checks or local delivery services

Risk transfer

The risk of loss or damage to the product passes to the consumer at the time of delivery , when the product is actually taken into possession by you or a third party designated by you.

Damage or loss

Please check your order immediately upon receipt.

In case of damage or loss, please report this by email within 48 hours of receipt , preferably with clear photos of:
– the product
– the packaging
– the shipping label

This allows us to initiate an investigation with the carrier in a timely manner.

Uncollected shipments

If a shipment is not collected or is returned by the carrier due to an incorrect address or absence, we reserve the right to charge any additional shipping costs.
