Hand-painted Delft blue wall plate with bird – studio ceramics (20 cm)
This hand-painted wall plate is a refined example of modern Delftware in studio design. At its center, we see a bird in flight, depicted with delicate brushwork and a poetic interplay of light and dark. The decorative border, with geometric and floral motifs, gives the plate an almost baroque shape and makes it a striking wall piece.
The back is marked "Delft's Handpainted" and signed with the initials JB. This indicates studio work in the Delft style, not factory production. The plate has a hanging option and is clearly intended as wall decoration, not as utilitarian pottery.
A characterful piece for lovers of Delft blue, artisanal ceramics and calm, narrative objects on the wall.
