An engraved capacity measure is featured on the top. This detail is crucial: it indicates actual use within a pharmacy and places the bottle in a period before the complete standardization of pharmacy glass. Decorative reproductions almost always lack this feature.
The bottle comes complete with its original glass stopper and a matching measuring cup, also made of cobalt blue glass. Together, they form a cohesive whole that is rarely preserved intact. The glass shows minor signs of wear consistent with its age and function, with no cracks or restorations.
