This refined porcelain wall plate, "Am Wegesrand," was designed by Hans Graß and released in 1989 as the first edition in the "Wilde Schönheiten" collection. The plate depicts a rich, botanical scene with wildflowers along a forest edge, executed in a painterly style with exceptional detail and depth of color.
The plate was made by Porzellanmanufaktur Fürstenberg , one of the oldest and most renowned porcelain factories in Europe (founded in 1747). The decoration was transferred to fine porcelain using rare pigments, which explains why the plate is intended exclusively as a wall ornament.
This piece is part of a limited edition , with production finally ending after a fixed number of firing days. A beloved collector's item among enthusiasts of fine porcelain, nature illustrations, and German manufactures.
