Droste 's rectangular metal cocoa tin, featuring the classic red and cream house style with the iconic nurse. The tin is adorned with richly printed lithographic panels, including the Droste coat of arms, coin medallions, and a historical scene with the inscription "Pastilles Droste – Finest Chocolate ."
This model has a raised, flat lid without any relief or embossing. The lid is fully printed and fits snugly onto the tin. Its construction and shape therefore differ from the more common flat or relief lids in the Droste range.
The interior is uncoated metal and shows signs of wear and slight discoloration consistent with age. The exterior shows normal signs of wear along the edges and corners, with no rusting or structural damage. The print is well-preserved and vibrant.
