










Antique Droste's Cocoa Tin – Haarlem, ca. 1920–1930
Rectangular metal cocoa tin by Droste & Co., Haarlem, made of lithographically printed tinplate with iconic images. The tin features classic Droste advertising images on several sides, including the famous nurse with a tray and the coat of arms, complemented by decorative Art Nouveau elements and a richly illustrated lid.
The object dates from the interwar period and was originally used for cocoa or chocolate products. The tin has a removable lid and an empty metal interior. Visible signs of wear and age consistent with its age and function, including minor wear to the edges and surfaces. A recognizable collector's item in Dutch advertising and packaging history.
