Vintage cigar tin by Agio , a brand of the Dutch cigar factory Agio NV from Duizel, ca. 1960–1970 .
Finished in metallic grey with gold yellow typography and sunburst motif , with embossing on the inside of the lid.
The text “Wilde Cigarillos – 50 Cigarros Puros” refers to the rougher, uncut cigars from the popular export range.
The design combines classical baroque influences with modern industrial typography – typical of the heyday of the cigar industry in the Netherlands.
