Original metal tin of Zwitsal Baby Powder , produced by the Zwitsal factories in Apeldoorn .
This version dates from the 1950s or 1960s and is recognisable by its red and white typography, classic baby portrait and the inscription “contains Bithionol against wet diaper rash” – an ingredient that was later banned, making this version rare.
A charming example of post-war Dutch advertising design , loved by collectors of household nostalgia as well as design and packaging enthusiasts.
