Cylindrical Orange Hagel tin, issued by De Ruijter in 1980. This version was issued on the occasion of the change of throne, with portraits of Queen Juliana (reign 1948–1980) and Queen Beatrix (inaugurated on 30 April 1980).
The tin features an orange lithography with national colors, the royal coat of arms, and portrait medallions. Originally intended as packaging for chocolate sprinkles, it now serves as a recognizable example of Dutch branding and monarchy history from the late twentieth century.
The object shows signs of wear consistent with its age and original use. A distinctive collector's item for lovers of vintage packaging, Orange Lilies, and Dutch graphic design.
