Cylindrical vintage tea tin for Yingteh Black Tea, finished in metallic orange with gold accents. The tin is printed all around with bamboo motifs, birds, and Chinese characters. It has a removable lid and an internal seal with a metal snap cap. Originally used for the export of Chinese black tea, produced by the China National Native Produce Import & Export Corporation. The tin shows light wear and minor scratches consistent with its age and original use. A decorative object with a distinctly Asian export aesthetic from the second half of the 20th century.
