Rectangular lithographic toffee tin by Harry Vincent Ltd., Hunnington (Worcestershire, England) , manufactured for the Canadian market. The lid features a multicolored image of Parliament Hill, Ottawa , with the Peace Tower at its center and an inset portrait of a Royal Canadian Mounted Police rider . The sides are light yellow and feature provincial coats of arms and the slogan "Take the Home Sweet Home."
The tin is typographically and graphically typical of the mid-20th century , with rounded corners, a red lacquered rim, and a raised lid. The lithography is clearly preserved; the edges and corners show slight wear and small lacquer spots consistent with age and use.
Interior untouched; bottom with light metallic patina.
