Verkade cookie tin with a Dutch landscape – Royal Verkade Factories, Zaandam, ca. 1955–1965

Rectangular metal biscuit tin from the Royal Verkade Factory in Zaandam, featuring a continuous lithographically printed Dutch landscape in shades of yellow and white. The decoration features a stylized rural motif with farms, a windmill, a water feature, and a floral border, characteristic of Verkade designs from the post-war period.

The interior features an embossed brand marking "Koninklijke Verkade Fabrieken BV – Zaandam, Holland," indicating production after receiving the royal designation in 1955. The tin is industrially manufactured and intended for everyday household use, but today it is considered a collectible Dutch advertising object.

The condition is used but fair: minor rust and wear on the interior, with a well-preserved exterior and clear, intact graphics. No structural damage or deformation. Suitable as a collector's item, decorative object, or functional storage container.
