The figure consists of separately carved parts for the head, torso, arms, and legs, connected by strings for puppetry. The face features painted eyes, eyebrows, and a prominent nose. The hat is permanently attached and has a simple, characteristic shape.
The limbs are hinged and end in block-shaped hands and feet. A wooden cross is attached to the back for controlling the puppet.
