Large red Goya tin with 18th century dance scene, Demaret Confiserie
A large rectangular metal tin with a decoration on the lid after Francisco Goya, presumably based on one of his dance and court scenes. The image is framed by a green border with black and red accents. The sides are deep red with black and gold ornamentation and a central shield with the inscription "Goya • Prado • Madrid • 1746–1828."
The bottom is marked "Demaret Confiserie ," indicating Belgian production for luxury confectionery in the mid-20th century. The tin has a lock opening on the front (the key is missing). The interior shows clear signs of age, such as light rust and wear, consistent with intensive use.
A decorative collector's item with cultural-historical references to Goya and classic European confectionery tins.
