Vintage Yingteh Black Tea tea tin – China, orange with bamboo and birds

Cylindrical vintage tea tin for Yingteh Black Tea, finished in metallic orange with gold accents. The tin is printed all around with bamboo motifs, birds, and Chinese characters. It has a removable lid and an internal seal with a metal snap cap.
Originally used for the export of Chinese black tea, produced by the China National Native Produce Import & Export Corporation. The tin shows light wear and minor scratches consistent with its age and original use. A decorative object with a distinctly Asian export aesthetic from the second half of the 20th century.
